Welcom to Skaw Cup.
Welcome to Skaw Cup in Skagen. The most northern town in Denmark.
Skaw Cup is an international elite and general public football tournament. Every
year Skagen welcomes more than 80 teams consisting of both boys and girls.
Skagen is land of light. The holiday village in the north of Denmark offers many
unique Sightseeing opportunities for everybody. During the walk through the old
town you will experience the historic and idyllic fisher-environment with the
old houses of Skagen and the winding streets. By the yacht-harbour and along the
red warehouses there is a magnificent and festive environment which challenge
all senses. Around the town you find marvellous areas with dunes and great
nature which end up at Grenen where the seas Kattegat and Skagerak meet. Grenen
is a rare nature phenomenon and a very seen attraction. It is also in Skagen the
famous artists as P. S. Krøyer and Michael Ancher had their refuge and here they
painted several of their most famous paintings.
Skagen is much more than that. In the middle of the summer Skagen Idræts Klub
offers a big football experience. Here the club hosts a top class football
tournament for many nations. The boys are able to play from B13, to B19 with
elite rows in both B16 and B19. The girls are able to play from G15 to G17. Skaw
Cup has existed for 26 years and are well established with participators from
Danish, Swedish and Norwegian clubs. Skagen is known to be exclusive. Of course,
during Skaw Cup we offer our participants the best conditions. It is important
to us that the conditions of the participants are optimum. All participants are
lodged close to football grounds and provisioning. Further more there are during
Skaw Cup free bus transportation between the most important localities. In
Skagen you find football grounds of best quality which is why the Super League
Club OB for several seasons has used SIK´s football grounds for both shorter and
longer stays of training. Therefore we will offer you a whole week of football
experiences in a marvellous environment in Land of light.
